Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of Ivy Bookings by businesses, staff, and booking customers. They are written for Ivy’s booking, payments, and billing model.

1. Business Platform Terms

If you create or administer a business account on Ivy, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. You must provide accurate identity, contact, and payout details, and keep them current.

You are responsible for bookings, services, staff operations, and customer communication delivered through your account. Ivy may suspend access if fraud, misuse, policy breach, or payment risk is detected.

2. Payments, Fees, and Billing

Card payments are processed through Stripe Connect. By enabling card payments, businesses also agree to Stripe’s connected account terms and verification requirements.

  • Ivy may collect platform booking fees from booking transactions using Stripe Connect application fees.
  • Ivy may charge SMS top-ups, accrued fees, or billing adjustments using the stored business payment method.
  • Businesses must maintain a valid payment method for billing and top-up obligations.
  • Ivy may delay payouts, apply holds, or limit payment features where fraud or compliance risk is identified.

Stripe processing fees, dispute outcomes, and chargeback liabilities may reduce payout amounts. Businesses remain responsible for legitimate business conduct and transaction integrity.

3. Customer Booking Terms

Customers booking through a Ivy-powered widget agree that booking details are shared with the selected business to provide the appointment.

  • Deposits may be required before confirmation, depending on business settings.
  • Remaining balances, cancellation windows, and no-show rules are controlled by the selected business.
  • Where shown, service fees and deposit amounts are displayed before payment confirmation.

4. Acceptable Use

Users must not use Ivy for fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, or unauthorised payment activity. This includes the use of stolen payment credentials, fake identities, or non-genuine transactions.

5. Availability and Changes

Ivy may update features, risk controls, and billing logic as the product evolves. Material updates to these terms may be published on this page and take effect from the stated update date.
